Community Tennis Association (CTA) in partnership with Swindon Community is looking for an energetic and charismatic LTA qualified Coach to develop and enhance the clubs junior and adult coaching programmes.

Swindon Community Tennis (SCT) is LTA registered with 10x newly refurbished tennis courts (4x floodlit), 4x dedicated mini tennis courts and a new clubhouse and café. It is one of the LTA’s priority projects. SCT has over 300+ players since establishing in 2015 and has massive potential to grow rapidly in the future.

The role will start with 15 hours of scheduled group coaching sessions per week and the potential to quickly build up 10+ hours of individual coaching. The role will rapidly grow into a full time coaching role by the end of 2016, with the right coach and we expect demand will mean assistant coaches will need to be found going into 2017. 

Please note: 6x hours of group coaching will be delivered at a Satellite programme in Thatcham, West Berkshire in the interim (approx. 40mins drive from SCT). Once the SCT programme increases, these hours will move back to SCT.

The successful candidate will have a passion about tennis and developing a tennis programme, have excellent communication and organisation skills and high levels of professionalism.
